Le gay paris

I'm looking for the old Parisian expression Le Gay Paris. Does it exist or is it just a figment of my imagination? I mean, in a totally non-sexual but rather touristic sense.

The vibrant and inclusive gay district in Paris is called “Le Marais.” It is renowned for its numerous gay bars, clubs, and LGBTQ+-friendly establishments, making it a welcoming and enjoyable destination for the community and allies.
